Relevant Matter is JCT terminology associated with loss-and-expense entitlement. The selected form and amendments determine the matters covered and the conditions for recovery. A Relevant Event and a Relevant Matter can overlap, but they serve different contractual purposes.
Check the money provision as well as the time provision. Delay and disruption cost recovery can help relate additional cost to the event and applicable terms.
