Further detail

The event is the starting point for understanding an issue. Identify the instruction, omission, change or alleged failure, when it happened and which work it affected. Compare it with the agreed scope and programme. An event does not, by itself, establish a right to more time or money.

Start a dated chronology and preserve the original documents. Check notice requirements while the facts are being gathered. Our Change valuation and compensation-event quotations service connects the event to the instruction, scope and valuation; the shared guide explains the different procedures.
