Relevant Matter is JCT terminology associated with loss-and-expense entitlement. The selected form and amendments determine the matters covered and the conditions for recovery. A Relevant Event and a Relevant Matter can overlap, but they serve different contractual purposes.

Check the money provision as well as the time provision. [Delay and disruption cost recovery](<https://www.quantsurv.com/claims?service=%2Fdelay-and-disruption%2Fservices%2Fdelay-disruption-recovery#client-types>) can help relate additional cost to the event and applicable terms.
