One payment, variation or deduction claim under one UK construction contract, up to 100 pages.

## What you receive

A PDF claim viability report covering strengths, weaknesses, evidence gaps and recommended next steps.

**Delivered by email within 24 hours** of payment and receipt of your complete information, including weekends.

## Full scope and delivery details

An initial commercial assessment for a main contractor or subcontractor of one defined payment, variation or deduction claim under one UK construction contract. We review your contract, the amount in dispute and the supporting records to explain the apparent claim basis, evidence, commercial considerations and proportionate next step.

Jack personally checks the findings and recommendations in your report before it is emailed to you.

### Scope and limits

- For main contractors and subcontractors: one payment, variation or deduction claim under one contract, with up to 100 pages across the complete submission. Multiple claims or contracts need a separate scope.
- This is an initial assessment of the supplied records. Full claim preparation, detailed valuation, evidence reconstruction, negotiation, issuing notices and representation in proceedings are separate work.
- Delay, disruption and extension-of-time claims requiring programme or forensic analysis are outside this Express Service, as are specialist legal or technical opinions and independent solvency checks.
- The review does not pause any deadline or guarantee recovery. If a deadline falls before the 24-hour review can be completed, contact Emergency Support before ordering. Live proceedings requiring a response need a separately accepted scope.

### Your completed report

- A PDF report identifying the apparent claim basis, strengths, weaknesses and uncertainties, with references to the documents reviewed.
- An evidence-gap checklist explaining what is missing and how it could affect the assessment.
- An initial commercial assessment of the amount in dispute, likely next-stage work and costs, and payment prospects where supported by the supplied information.
- A reasoned recommendation and action list: proceed, gather evidence, negotiate, seek specialist advice or stop. Known urgent dates and unresolved timing questions are flagged.

One consolidated clarification round is included within 10 working days of issue. We correct our own errors without charge; additional documents or a changed scope are separate work.

### The 24-hour turnaround

Your deadline is 24 elapsed hours, including weekends, from payment and receipt of all the information in the checklist. We check for missing or unreadable items and confirm the exact delivery time by email. A later review of your files does not restart the clock.

A payment receipt or successful upload alone does not confirm that the information is complete. Changes to the brief or replacement documents after work starts need a separate agreement.

Check what to include

- The complete contract or subcontract, including amendments, schedules and incorporated terms relevant to the claim.
- The claim or disputed payment, variation or deduction, including the amount, calculation and the other party’s response. Include relevant applications, assessments, notices and payment records.
- An indexed PDF bundle of the key instructions, correspondence and contemporaneous records supporting this one issue. Include a short chronology and identify any known missing evidence.
- Your role, both parties’ names, the project location, the outcome you want and every known contractual or procedural deadline. State whether proceedings have started.

Use legible, unlocked PDFs. Combine related documents into the relevant bundle, identify the latest version and include every document referred to in the checklist.
